Demand from Canada that people with disabilities not be left behind in the face of this pandemic. Let us call on Canada to increase assistance to the most vulnerable.

Humanity & Inclusion calls on all humanitarian actors, governments and international agencies to put people with disabilities and the most vulnerable populations at the heart of their fight against coronavirus. The fight against COVID-19 must not forget anyone!

COVID-19 is a "humanitarian tsunami" that hits the most vulnerable particularly hard. Let us mobilize so that people with disabilities and vulnerable populations are not left behind in the face of this pandemic!

Vulnerable people are already often isolated and forgotten about assistance schemes for the general population. Confinement measures risk depriving these populations of access to such vital things as water, food and health care.

If they get sick from the coronavirus, they will have a much harder time than others to access care and are much more likely to die from it.

Equal in rights and dignity with the rest of humanity, they require special arrangements that take into account their specific needs.

Humanity & Inclusion has put in place an inclusive response programme to COVID-19, which includes measures for the prevention of COVID-19, access to care and distribution of food and essential goods, investigation and testimony.

Indignant at the injustice and abandonment often experienced by people with disabilities and vulnerable populations, we call for a world of solidarity and inclusion. We must respond with the utmost solidarity to COVID-19, which disproportionately affects the most vulnerable.
